The short version

We built All Tools Max so that your data never reaches us. The tools run entirely in your browser, there are no accounts, and we have no server that receives or stores what you type. This page explains that in more detail, in plain words, because privacy policies should be readable by the people they describe.

What we collect

Through the tools: nothing. There is no sign-up, no account, and no form on a tool page that transmits your information anywhere. When you enter your name, your work history, your pay rate, or anything else into a tool, that information stays in the page on your device while you use it.

That means we don't have a database of users. We don't know who visits, what they write, what they calculate, or what they download. We couldn't show you a copy of your data if you asked, and we couldn't hand it to anyone else either — there's nothing to show and nothing to hand over. In our view, that's a better guarantee than any promise about how carefully stored data would be handled.

The one place information can come to us is email. If you write to us, we receive what you send, like any email recipient would. What happens with that is covered in the contact section at the end of this page.

Your drafts and localStorage

Some tools auto-save a draft as you work, so a closed tab or a crashed browser doesn't wipe out a half-written letter. Those drafts are saved using localStorage, a small storage area inside your own browser, on your own device.

To be clear about what that means: the draft never travels to us or to anyone else. It sits on the device you typed it on, in that browser, and nowhere else. If you switch devices or browsers, your draft won't follow you, because there's no copy of it anywhere else to sync from.

You stay in control of it. Download your finished work whenever you want a copy you can keep. To delete a saved draft completely, clear the site data for All Tools Max in your browser settings — that removes everything the site has stored locally. If you use a shared or public computer, we recommend doing exactly that when you finish: download your document first, then clear the site data, so nothing of yours is left behind for the next person.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies of our own. All Tools Max doesn't use cookies to track you, remember you across visits, or build a profile of what you've done on the site.

One thing may change that picture in future: advertising. The site will show Google AdSense ads, and when ads run, Google may set advertising cookies in your browser. Those cookies help Google show ads, limit how often you see the same one, and measure how ads perform. They may also be used to show ads based on your interests, depending on your own Google settings.

You stay in charge of that, too. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can adjust how Google personalises ads for you in your Google ad settings. Blocking cookies won't break the tools — they don't depend on cookies to work.

If the advertising setup changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated before, or at the same time as, that change goes live.

Third-party services

Even though the tools send nothing anywhere, loading a page on the modern web does involve a few outside services, and it's only fair to name them.

The site's web fonts load from Google Fonts. Two parsing libraries used by the ATS Resume Checker load from public content delivery networks, known as CDNs. In both cases, when your browser requests a font or a library file, it makes a standard technical request to that service. Like any web request, it includes technical information such as your IP address and basic details about your browser, so the service knows where to send the file.

That request doesn't include anything you've typed into a tool. The font service doesn't see your resume, and the library CDN doesn't see your letter — they simply deliver a file to your browser, and the tool does its work locally after that. We plan to host the site behind Cloudflare at launch, acting as the content delivery network for the site itself, which means page requests will pass through Cloudflare's network in the normal way a CDN handles traffic.

Analytics

We don't currently run analytics that track individual visitors. In future, we may use privacy-friendly analytics that give us aggregate numbers only — things like how many people visited a page in total, or which tool is used most often — so we know what to improve. Aggregate numbers tell us a tool is popular; they don't tell us anything about you personally.

If we ever add analytics, or anything else, that changes what information is involved when you use this site, this policy changes first. We won't quietly start collecting something and update the paperwork later.

Children

All Tools Max is a general-audience site about jobs, resumes, and pay. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone — as this page explains, the tools collect nothing from any visitor, whatever their age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Because we hold no accounts and no contact list for visitors, we can't email you about changes — checking this page is the way to see the current version. Small wording fixes aside, any change that affects your privacy will be described here plainly, the same way this version is.

Contact

If you have a question about privacy or about this policy, email us at contact@alltoolsmax.com. Visitors sometimes ask us to delete their data. The honest answer is that there's nothing stored on our side to delete — your drafts live in your own browser, and you can remove them yourself at any time by clearing the site data, as described above. If you're unsure how to do that, write to us and we'll talk you through it.
